A planning worksheet is not an offer
The worksheets compare entered fees, illustrate an opportunity cost for a balance waiver and organize a bank-switching timeline. They use integer-cent arithmetic and show their line items. They do not access an account, open a product, check credit or make a personalized recommendation. Read the methodology and the actual provider agreement.
A constant-price twelve-period illustration is not a calendar forecast or total annual cost. Introductory periods, counted transactions, waivers, interest, tax assumptions and switching costs must be supplied and checked. Unknown fees are not silently verified as zero.
Research is dated and selective
The directory preserves public institution records, historic names and category or transition notes. Some records have unresolved identity holds or canonical aliases. Selected product examples have separate source dates, incomplete fields and expiry or scheduled-change rules. A directory entry does not establish that an institution or product is available to you.
We do not claim a government affiliation, universal deposit-insurance coverage, bank partnership, independent professional certification, customer rating or comprehensive market ranking. Deposit protection depends on the actual issuer, product, category and applicable scheme; verify it with the official organization. Links to original sources help you check the material.
A needs brief is a list of questions
The needs brief turns nonsensitive preferences into explained questions and useful pages. It does not score your suitability, infer financial vulnerability, decide immigration or lending eligibility, or choose a bank for you. Its answers stay local unless you deliberately use a separate sharing control.
AI and enquiries
AI replies can contain errors and are general educational help. The deterministic tools perform arithmetic; chat cannot see your saved plans or operate a bank or private account. A labelled worksheet guide is distinct from an AI answer.
A separately consented MITEY enquiry is a request to the website team, not an application to a lender or a promise of advice, approval, coverage or a referral. Confirm a material decision with current primary sources and a properly qualified professional. Contact hello@mitey.ca for corrections.
