Educational use
BankingCanada.ca provides general Canadian banking education, public research and deterministic planning worksheets. You may use them and keep their exports for your own planning. MITEY is not a bank, deposit taker, credit bureau, lender, insurer or licensed adviser by operating this site. Using a tool, chat or form creates no adviser-client, bank-customer or brokerage relationship.
Assumptions and limits
Worksheet results follow the assumptions you enter and the published method. They do not establish suitability, account eligibility, deposit protection, tax treatment, a credit score, approval odds or actual future bills. A fictional worked example is not a current product offer. Unknown data stays unknown; a saved entry or institution name is not verification.
Directory status notes, selected product facts and guide references have their own review dates and exclusions. Fees and terms may change, including scheduled changes noted on the site. Confirm the current agreement, actual issuer, service availability, transaction rules and any waivers with the provider before acting. We do not rank a personal winner or guarantee a saving.
Local files and optional services
You control local saves, exports and any information you choose to share. Keep copies of work you need; browser storage, downloads and site availability are not guaranteed. The AI service is optional and can be wrong or unavailable. Its conversation is not an application or team enquiry.
Sending an enquiry requires the separate consent and preview described in the privacy page. We confirm acceptance only when the server returns the matching reference. Acceptance does not promise a particular reply time, professional service, account opening, quote, referral or application outcome.
Responsible use and content
Do not submit another person’s information without authority, send sensitive account or identity data, impersonate someone, abuse the service, bypass access controls or interfere with other visitors’ use. Do not describe an educational result or AI response as a bank’s decision or MITEY’s professional advice.
Site text, illustrations and software are protected by their applicable rights and licences. Personal worksheet exports are permitted; bulk republication, use of the MITEY identity or claims of an affiliation require permission. Third-party names and trademarks identify their respective organizations and do not imply endorsement or sponsorship.
Availability, corrections and contact
We work to maintain useful, checkable material but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or that every third-party fact remains current. Use the original source and a qualified professional for a decision requiring individual advice. These terms do not remove rights or obligations that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
